Samantha and I met a couple years ago when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding we were shooting. When it came time for her to get married, she reached out and decided to take me from the beach to the western mountains of Virginia. The beauty of Spring was in full affect as their wedding was set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, nestled into a beautiful piece of land that was made up of miles and miles of blossoming trees, orchids, and flower gardens. It truly was as beautiful as it sounds.

Their wedding was a mixture of classic beauty and raw emotion, highlighting the beauty of all they had planned, yet showcasing it through a candid and cinematic perspective. It was the perfect balance.  Sunny, rainy, moody with pink skies, we truly saw it all, danced in the rain, wiped a lot of tears, and shared endless laughs.

Sam and Des were the most laid back couple, truly and deeply in love, and just wanted to have an epic party with all their closest people. And that is exactly what they got!
