With eleven  of their closest loved ones, Juliana and Zach got married on a secluded North Carolina beach, only accessible by a very long roadtrip and an hour-long ferry ride.

 

Juliana's parents honeymooned on this island, vacationed here for the last 40 years, and watched their children grow up on these sandy shores. To say this place is special to their family is an understatement.

This was an elegant, yet very relaxed day and ceremony. We started at a small. vintage island inn where they got ready, moved to a protected stretch of beach for the ceremony, and ended at one of the tastiest, local restaurants on the island.  The whole day was full of laughs, hilarious stories, some tears, and lots and lots of love.
