An Outer Banks Engagement
Ella & John
We jumped on John's shrimping boat, that he and his dad built by hand, and the 5 of us (pups included!) headed off to one of their favorite nearby sand islands. We had rescheduled once due to weather, which turned out to be an incredible decision because we couldn't have had a more perfect sunset. We spent a couple hours running around the island, having some fun, Ella and John sharing more than a couple kisses and glasses of champagne and finishing the evening off with a sandy bon fire. We chatted about their wedding the following year, life plans, and just enjoyed being in one of the most beautiful, remote places on the Outer Banks together. After being stuck in the sand for about 10 minutes when it was time to motor home, we finally got John's boat off the island and headed back to their house under the stars. It doesn't get much better than this for an engagement shoot: two people, madly in love, just wanting to have fun, run around, and soak in one of their favorite places together.
