During one of my free diving trips to Eastern Mexico, I met Sofia Carrillo, a Mexican jewelry designer & maker, and boutique owner. Our artistic styles complimented one another and we planned this shoot in under 2 weeks! We took the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel in the early morning, got picked up in an open-air buggy, and went to the hair and makeup artist's personal home, which was the setting for the entire shoot. We wanted to highlight both her jewelry and clothing, in a setting that fit the brand: tropical island chic minimalism.  It was a gorgeous day with a group of extremely talented women!
