Tide Pools and Cliff Sides of the Canary Islands
FUERTEVENTURA, SPAIN
After searching google Earth for hours, I landed on these beautiful tidepools, accessible only by a 4x4 car and a steep climb down some volcanic rock. As you can see below, it was more than worth it. There was barely anyone around but me, Callum, and 1,000 sea urchins (of which I spent the entire time ungracefully treading above lol.) Going midday allowed for the sun the hit the pools and showcase their natural turquoise blue beauty.
Afterwards, we had a quick lunch, changed in the car, and headed over to the sunset cliffs at the south of the island. The wind was insane but boy was it GORGEOUS. Since the island is still mostly barren due to recent volcanic activity, you can see for miles and it sometimes feels like you are just walking around the moon. What a gorgeous day!
